Data collected
We collect different categories of data depending on your profile:
Pet owners
Last name, first name and email address; information about your pets (species, breed, age); responses to behavioral assessment questionnaires; history of your exchanges with professionals; payment data processed by Stripe (we do not store your banking details); language preferences and account settings.
Animal professionals
Professional contact details (name, email, phone); SIRET number and business information; subscription data and billing history; exchanges with your prospects.
Legal basis for processing
We process your data based on contract performance (account management and service provision), your consent (marketing communications, non-essential cookies), our legitimate interest (service improvement, security) and compliance with legal obligations (accounting data retention).
Retention period
Account data: retained for the duration of registration, then deleted within 3 years of closure. Payment data: retained for 10 years (legal obligations). Behavioral assessments: retained for 5 years. Messaging data: retained for 2 years after the last exchange.
Data recipients
Your data is processed by our subcontractors within the strict scope of their missions: Stripe (payments — United States, covered by standard contractual clauses); MongoDB Atlas (hosting — European Union). We never sell your data to third parties.
Your rights
In accordance with the GDPR, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection and restriction of processing. To exercise them, contact us at contact@ohmydoug.com. In case of dispute, you can contact the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
Cookies and trackers
We use cookies necessary for operation (authentication, preferences) without prior consent, and analytics cookies placed only after your agreement. You can manage your preferences through your browser settings.

We implement appropriate measures to protect your data: HTTPS/TLS encryption, access limited to authorized personnel, secure hosting.
